PERMANENT PLACEMENTS

Should you require permanent staff, one of our experienced team of professionals will discuss your needs and objectives in-depth with you, and devise an effective recruitment campaign. Our recruitment procedures involve systematic objective assessments of candidates, with an emphasis on work performance in similar environments and roles.

Assignment Briefing

Our first objective is to clearly understand your requirements. This takes the form of a discussion to gain an understanding of your company, its products and services, culture, your expectations and the requirements of the position. Such requirements could include skills, technical knowledge, academic qualifications, industry experience and personal qualities of a suitable candidate and the remuneration for the right person.

Recruitment Strategy

Permanent placements can be obtained by the following procedure:

  • accessing our active database;
  • utilising our networking facility; and
  • advertising (after consultation with you).

Testing the Market

If an advertising program is selected, an "applicant specific advertisement" is designed to clearly indicate to prospective candidates the requirements of the positions. There is no meaningless jargon and the results oriented advertising is clearly configured to obtain the widest possible field of eligible candidates.

Any final advertising decision will be made in accordance with your approval.

Display advertising will be invoiced at cost. There is no fee for non-display advertising.

Screening, Interviewing and Work Performance Reference Checking

CLEXAN-PEAK PERSONNEL will systematically interview all eligible candidates, and objectively assess their expertise. Following interviews, Work Performance Reports will be obtained for shortlisted candidates. (Only personnel who have had direct managerial experience of the candidate are considered and contacted for these reports).

CLEXAN-PEAK PERSONNEL'S reference checking service adds value to the selection process by assisting in determining the depth of the candidate's claims. Generally, referees are requested to comment on the candidate's duties, responsibilities, technical abilities, strengths, weaknesses, personal qualities and achievements, including whether they would re-employ the candidate. All candidate claims will be assessed in relation to the skills, industry experience and knowledge, personal qualities and special requirements relevant to the position.

Report to the Client

CLEXAN-PEAK PERSONNEL will provide a detailed report outlining all or some of the following depending upon relevancy:

  • Recommended candidates
  • Reserve candidates, if required
  • Number of candidates responding to advertisements
  • Number of candidates who have applied for the position
  • Number of candidates considered not suitable for shortlisting and reasons for their unsuitability
  • Comparative assessment matrix for easier verification of candidate claims
  • Recommended shortlisted candidates to be considered by you, incorporating reasons for shortlisting and referee reports

Assistance with Your Interview Process

CLEXAN-PEAK PERSONNEL can provide sample questions and scenarios if required.

Offers of Appointment

CLEXAN-PEAK PERSONNEL can conduct negotiations in regard to offers and provides an after acceptance follow-up service. This involves liaison, provision of supportive documentation and facilitating commencement.

As a quality improvement procedure, the assignment will be reviewed so as to ensure a continuing high standard of service.

Service Fees

Our fees for permanent placements are based on the per annum salary and superannuation and are not calculated on allowances, anticipated commission, bonus earnings and non-salary benefits such as provision of a motor vehicle etc.

Pro-rata fees apply for CLEXAN-PEAK PERSONNEL temporary staff who take up an offer of temporary or permanent appointment with you as a result of working with you on a temporary assignment.
