Who can purchase from Contract 755?
All Government
Departments and Agencies listed in Schedule 1 of the Public
Sector Management Act 1988 are required to use the period
contract of the State Contracts Control Board. The
following organisations also have access to the contracts
and services of the State Contracts Control Board:
- Declared
Authorities set out in Schedule 3 of the Public Sector Management
Act, 1988. This category includes most Authorities, Boards
and Commissions;
- Local
Councils and County Councils;
- Charitable
organisations, private schools, universities and other tertiary
education facilities;
- Other
State and Federal Government Departments and Authorities;
- Benevolent
nursing homes and community based child care facilities
and other welfare and community service providers.
Some Government
agencies have the authority to contract in their own right.
These include most statutory bodies and Local Government.
Although these organisations are autonomous regarding contracting
and purchasing, they are still entitled to utilise the Board's
contracts.
