OVERSEAS
APPLICANTS
If you
are not an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident, you will
need a valid working visa before you can apply for work via
Clexan-Peak Personnel.
Please
note that Clexan-Peak Personnel is unable to
supply visas to candidates, nor can we sponsor potential employees.

on Permanent Residency, Skilled Migration and Business Visas
or other visas with work rights please visit the Department
of Immigration & Multicultural Affairs website at www.immi.gov.au.
If you
are in Australia and have work rights, you must also contact
the Australian Tax Office to obtain a Tax File Number. Visit
their website at www.ato.gov.au.
Working Holiday Makers
Working
holiday visas are available to people between 18 and 30 years
of age from certain countries including the United Kingdom,
Canada, the Netherlands, Ireland and South Korea.
Applications
for a Working Holiday Maker visa must be made outside Australia.
The visa is valid for 12 months with the option of working
for up to six months for any one employer.

Students
Overseas
students in Australian do not automatically have the right
to work in Australia, however they and their dependents can
apply for work rights after commencing their course of study.
You cannot
work more than 20 hours per week when your course is in session
(other than work which has been registered as a part of the
course).
but no work limits apply during recognised periods of vacation
offered by your education provider.
